Negotiating a pre-ordered Volvo EX

I went through the EX customization and got an order number. Can I take that order to multiple Volvo dealers to negotiate the best price? Has anyone done this with other pre-ordered Volvos. I’m used to buying from dealer stock and negotiating in person, but this online pre-ordering is a whole new game for me.

Honestly with pre orders it's a bit of a gray area. Usually they're tied to the dealer you ordered through but it's worth a shot asking around. Some dealers might be willing to play ball especially if they're hungry for sales. Thing is since it's a pre order they know you're already pretty invested so they might not budge much.

I’ll check around and see if any dealers are flexible, but I won’t expect huge discounts.
