Road trips just got a whole lot more exciting for passengers. And for those inevitable traffic jams or charging stops, having access to entertainment can make a huge difference. Safety is a major concern. Distracted driving is a serious issue, so it's crucial that these services are only accessible when the car is completely stationary.

Do you think it's a good move for Volvo? Any concerns about safety or potential distractions?

It’s a cool idea but I hope Volvo keeps safety as the top priority. Streaming apps like Prime Video and YouTube are great for passengers but even the best systems can be distracting if not handled right. As long as the apps are fully locked while driving it’s a great feature. But I’d be curious to see how well they’ve tested this to avoid potential distractions.

It’s a great move for Volvo, enhancing the passenger experience, but safety should remain the priority. Limiting entertainment to stationary moments is key to reducing distractions.
