Anyone Else Concerned About EX90’s Missing Features

I just got the notification to configure my EX90 (day 1 reservation here, super pumped!), but I noticed something that’s giving me pause. Apparently, some key features won’t be available at launch, like: LIDAR, Cross-traffic alert, Curve speed assist, CarPlay, Bi-directional charging, Smart charging/plug & charge

And there’s also this battery drain issue where it loses about 3% charge every 24 hours, though Volvo says they’ll fix it with a future update.

I’m still really excited about the car, it looks fantastic, but this has me wondering if it’s worth waiting a bit longer for them to sort everything out. Anyone else in the same boat? Are these missing features a big deal to you, or are you cool waiting for updates?

The features and functionalities that can be delayed when your EX90 is delivered are listed and described below. An update will be released later with these features.

The missing features and battery drain would give me pause too, but Volvo seems committed to updates. If the core driving experience is great, it might still be worth it

I'm glad to know that most updates will happen automatically over the air, and we won't be charged for them. If an update ever requires a visit to a retailer, we'll be informed in advance so we can plan accordingly.

I can relate, I'm also eagerly waiting for my EX90, but I’m a bit concerned about the missing features at launch. I’m willing to wait for the updates, though, since the car looks amazing overall.
