Has anyone else thought about using the EX90’s massive battery to power their home? With a capacity of 111kWh, this thing could provide nearly 10 times the energy of a Tesla Powerwall! Pretty wild when you realize your car could be more than just a car, it could actually keep your lights on during an outage.

From what I’ve read, the EX90 might support VTG (vehicle-to-grid) tech, which could mean charging it at off-peak rates and then using that power when rates are higher. Has anyone looked into how this might work in real life? Would love to hear thoughts on whether it’s feasible or just a cool theory at this point.

This is one of the features that checked the last box. The dealer is getting the details for the hardware required for the house, but it exists. The 2025 model, from what I'm told, will not go back to the grid or charge another vehicle. It will power the house and provide power locally.

Unless you have a very efficient house, the power won't last that long. My home, worst case, uses 66kw a day. The EX90 stops back feeding the house at around 30%. That would be a day. I'm sure I will not use 66kw a day in a power outage situation, but the power is not going to last a week.

That's exciting even if it doesn't last long.
