Anyone Else Facing EX90 Delivery Delays

Just heard from my dealer that my EX90 delivery has been delayed yet again. Originally, it was scheduled for December 2024, but now they’re saying it’ll be April or May 2025. That’s a six-month delay on top of the previous ones!

What’s frustrating is that I had already been given a confirmed production date, so I’m not sure what’s going on. Is this happening to anyone else? Are these delays tied to production issues, supply chain problems, or something else entirely?

Would love to hear if others are in the same boat or if anyone has gotten an update from their dealer or Volvo directly. At this rate, it feels like I’ll never actually get the car!

I was bummed to hear about the new expected timeline for the EX90. I hope the delay isn't making you reconsider.

Still haven't heard anything back yet, but I'm starting to think it could be another software issue, or maybe something totally different. Btw, did your dealer get in touch with you by email or give you a call?

The delay for mine is attributed to the availability of the Ventilated Dawn Nordico in Dawn interior. I was informed of this when I customized the order in July of 2023. The pre-order was Dec 2022. The last the dealer has heard is Feb-Mar 2025. The app still says 1-2 months. The dealer has two demo EX90's on the lot and I got to take one of them home overnight, nice!
